Who We Are

Brittany

Dr. Brittany Acosta-Nijamkin

Founder/President

Brittany is the Director of Leadership Education at Delta Phi Epsilon Sorority. She recently received her EDD in Educational Leadership from the University of Delaware. She has a Master of Science Degree in College Student Personnel from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, GBO! She is married to Sebastian and they have two kids (Lila & Ethan) and two dogs. She wishes she would have told her younger self to focus on being the smartest athlete possible and to enhance her mental strength and resiliency.

Sebastian Acosta-Nijamkin

Founder/Treasurer

Sebastian is originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina and is a fan of Club Atletico Boca Juniors. He is the Girls Director of Coaching and Operations & Development Director for Delaware Union. Sebastian is married to Brittany and they have two kids and two dogs (Mumford & Tevez). He wishes he could tell his younger self to be more serious about practice and his commitment to soccer.

Fields Brown

Secretary

Fields Brown is a boys ECNL Coach at the Colorado Rapids Youth Soccer Club and the Volunteer Assistant Coach at Regis University. He lives in Colorado and is married to Kelly Brown and they have a son together, Aiden, and a dog, Kaya. Fields played soccer at Pfeiffer University and Cape Fear Community College and has a Masters of Arts Degree in Teaching from Converse College. He is a fan of North Carolina Tar Heel Basketball and the Arsenal Football Club. He wishes he could tell his younger self to enjoy the memories that you'll make, friendships you'll develop, and cherish each second of the game because you'll soon be old and miss every minute of it

Dr. Meaghan  Davidson

Member at Large

Meaghan the Assistant Dean of Students at the University of Delaware where she is working on her Doctorate in Educational Leadership. She played volleyball, basketball and soccer growing up and is a fan of the Pittsburgh Penguins. She is married with two kids and her husband coaches lacrosse with the Wilmington Wings. She wishes she could tell her younger self that the leadership skills that can be developed while young (in high school, etc) will assist you through out your life.

James

James Bowen

Member at Large

James is the Office Manager/Personal Trainer at Forever Fit Foundation. He has a degree in Exercise Science from Wesley Colleg and is married and has one daughter and two dogs. He played football, lacrosse and wrestled growing up and is a fan of the Carolina Panthers, Waterdogs LC and FC Bayren München. He wishes he could tell his younger self to play multiple sports instead of specializing in one sport.
